Job Title: Cloud Solution Architect - Contract - Inside IR35
Day Rate: Negotiable (DOE)
Contract Length: 6 months.
Location: Winchester / Remote (with occasional travel)

About Us:

The Digital, Data, and Technology (DDaT) team develops advanced digital solutions. Our Shared Application Services (SAS) team is focused on improving and consolidating our cloud platforms.

Role Overview:

We are looking for a hands-on Solution Architect to join our SAS team. You will work with the main Architect to design and build a centralised AWS-based Core Cloud platform. This platform will consolidate existing cloud platforms, improve security, enable quicker releases, and scale for broader use.

Key Responsibilities:

* Design and build the Core Cloud platform in AWS.
* Consolidate existing cloud platforms.
* Enhance platform security.
* Enable faster release cycles.
* Scale the platform for wider use.
* Migrate ~70 services from ACP to the new platform.
* Support the deployment of a new web application with a go-live date of February 2025.

Qualifications:

* Experience as a Solution Architect with expertise in AWS.
* Strong background in cloud platform consolidation and migration.
* Knowledge of cloud security best practices.
* Ability to design scalable cloud solutions.
* Good collaboration and communication skills.
