My client is seeking a versatile and skilled Managed Service Centre Analyst to join their team and contribute to their mission of delivering reliable and innovative IT solutions.

Job Description:

The Managed Service Centre Analyst will play a critical role in providing comprehensive IT support. This multifaceted position encompasses the responsibilities of a CloudOps Engineer, Desktop Support Engineer, Senior IBMi System Operator, Service Desk Analyst, and Data Protection Analyst. The successful candidate will ensure the continuous operation, maintenance, and optimization of the IT infrastructure, offering 24/7 technical support and outstanding customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 24/7 technical support to ensure the smooth operation of IT infrastructure.
  • Serve as a CloudOps Engineer, managing and maintaining cloud-based systems and services.
  • Act as a Desktop Support Engineer, addressing and resolving end-user hardware and software issues.
  • Perform duties of a Senior IBMi System Operator, ensuring the reliable operation of IBM i systems.
  • Fulfill the role of a Service Desk Analyst, logging and resolving incidents and service requests.
  • Act as a Data Protection Analyst, managing encrypted backups and backup solutions using Veeam and Virtual Tape Libraries (VTL).
  • Ensure the security, availability, and integrity of data across all systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to diagnose and resolve technical issues.
  • Monitor system performance and implement necessary optimizations.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and procedures.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to internal and external stakeholders.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in IT support roles, including CloudOps, Desktop Support, and System Operations.
  • Strong knowledge of IBM i systems and operations.
  • Experience with Veeam and Virtual Tape Libraries (VTL) for backup management.
  • Proficiency in data protection and encryption technologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
