CNC Machinist Milling

CNC Machinist (Milling) - MC270081

CNC Machinist (Milling) required for a precision engineering company based in Prestwick. Due to continued investment, the Company is looking for an additional time served CNC Miller who has the ability to programme and operate a variety of machines, work to tight tolerances and has a good understanding of geometric symbols. The ideal candidate will be able to read and interpret engineering drawings, extracting the correct data to meet customer demands.

• Operating manual and CNC milling machinery to conduct internal and external milling of components to customer drawings
• Use of inspection equipment to ensure adherences to all sizes, tolerances, and surface finishes

Fanuc Programming

• Time-served Miller with recent CNC experience
• Experience of programming and operating CNC Milling machines
• Knowledge of Fanuc programming language

Rate up to £24p/h (Inclusive of shift allowance)

Hours of work (37 hours per week)

Early Shift: Monday to Thursday 6am - 2pm (30 minute /15 minute Both breaks paid), Friday 6am - 11am (15-minute paid break)

Back Shift: Monday to Thursday 2pm - 10pm (30 minute /15 minute Both breaks paid), Friday 11am - 4pm (15-minute paid break)

Shifts are rotating, following a training period on day shift
