Jonathan Lee Recruitment is assisting a Dudley based family engineering client  to recruit a CNC machinist due to retirement.  Using aluminium, carbon and alloy steels and some plastics to do close tolerance work, with our 3 vertical machining centres. 

As a CNC machinist, you will use our lathes and milling machines and given assistance in programming.

This will suit a machinist with milling and turning experience who would like to work days and can support our client base as we have a full order book.

To apply for this CNC machinist role, your expertise and experience should include:

  • A thorough understanding of CNC machines and ideally with milling and turning experience
  • A thorough knowledge of the application of cutting tools and ideally experience working with 3 or 5-axis machine centres
  • A sound knowledge and competence in the field of machining technology.  

As a vital member of the team and in return for your expertise, we offer a great benefits package to include :-

£32,000 - £35,000 (OTE with overtime £40,300) + Training + Days-based + Monday - Friday – Dudley (£16.00-£18.00 per hour)

Hours are :- Mon-Thursday 7.00-5.00.  Fridays :- 4-6 hours optional (paid at overtime rate 1.3) or flexi to have extended weekend.
