Salary: £32,000

Shift: Monday to Friday - Days (7am - 3pm)

Location: Upton, Dorset

Join a well-established and growing manufacturer of specialist machinery as a CNC Machinist. This is a great opportunity to be part of a skilled team producing high-quality, precision-engineered components for machinery supplied to food producers across the UK and overseas.

The Role of CNC Machinist:

  • Setting and operating CNC mills and/or lathes
  • Reading engineering drawings to produce precision parts
  • Quality checking components using micrometers, verniers, and gauges
  • Working to tight tolerances in a clean and organised workshop

Skills required for CNC Machinist:

  • Experience as a CNC Machinist (milling, turning, or both)
  • Confident reading technical drawings
  • Background in precision engineering - ideally within special-purpose machinery or similar sectors
  • Ability to work independently with a keen eye for detail
