Job Title: CNC Turner / CNC Miller

Location: Dundee

Remuneration: Hourly rate from £17 to £21

Contract Details: Temp To Perm, Full Time

Industry: Engineering

Working Pattern: Monday to Thursday 8.00am-4.30pm, Friday 8.00am-1pm (37 hours)

Driving Required: No

Our client, a leading engineering organisation, is seeking a skilled CNC Turner / CNC Miller to join their team. As a CNC Turner / CNC Miller, you will play a vital role in creating, proving out, and controlling CNC programming information to machine components as per client drawings.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare CNC programmes and download and run them on CNC machines.
  • Set up and run components for production, ensuring compliance with client drawings and quality requirements.
  • Inspect parts as per client requirements.
  • Develop and improve manufacturing processes.
  • Assist semi-skilled operators and apprentices when needed.
  • Sign and date completed route card operations, and insert set-up and run times.

To excel in this role, you should be a skilled CNC professional with excellent process and product knowledge. Health and safety compliance, as well as the ability to work under pressure and use initiative, are crucial for success.
