CNC Miller

Pertemps are currently recruiting for a CNC Miller and Setter to join a leading manufacturing company based in Basingstoke. This is a full time, permanent position working on a late shift.

CNC Miller Responsibilities
- Setting and operating both horizontal and vertical CNC mills with Fanuc & Yasnac controls
- Selecting correct tools, fixtures and programs for CNC machines
- Re-sealing machines for operators when required
- In cycle and final de-burring prior to passing on to the next stage of production
- Reading engineering drawings and programme for CNC machines
- Carry out in-process inspection to drawing specification using a variety of measuring equipment e.g., micrometres
- Management of programming updates and programming for new components
- Undertake other appropriate assigned duties by the Production Manage

CNC Miller Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience within the Engineering Industry
- Knowledge of Fanuc and Yasnac systems
- Experience working on horizontal & vertical CNC mills is advantageous
- Able to read and interpret engineering drawing
- Accurate numeracy skills

The role:
- Monday to Thursday, 14:00 - 00:30
- £15 - £18 per hour depending on experience
- Late shift premium paid on top
