CNC Miller required to join a well-established Toolmaking company that is based in the Taunton area. My client is looking for an experience Setter/Operator that has experience editing programs as well, the successful candidate will live within a commutable distance and show relevant previous experience.

CNC Miller Position Overview
  • Set and operate a range of CNC Milling Machines
  • Uploading existing programs to the machinery controls and carrying out editing where required
  • Reporting any production issues through to the Production Management team
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment
CNC Miller Position Requirements
  • Experience in setting up and operating of CNC milling machinery
  • Apprenticeship in a manufacturing discipline is desirable
  • Ability to read engineering drawings desirable
  • Previous experience performing basic editing of CNC Programs at the machine control
  • Direct experience of working with Heidenhain controlled milling machines would be beneficial
  • Must live within a commutable distance of Taunton
  • Full UK Driving License
CNC Miller Position Remuneration
  • Full time - Permanent
  • Salary - £14.00 -£17 (DOE)
  • Monday to Friday - 39 hour week - 08:00am to 17:15pm (08:00am until 14:00pm on Friday)
  • Pension
