Job Description

CNC Operator needed to initially work on the dayshift to undertake a period of training, following which you will move onto a 2-shift rotation.

Duties

  • Working on press brake machines

  • Working on a Hydraulic or mechanical press

  • Working to and understanding engineering drawings

  • Setting tools and in process inspection

Required knowledge, skills or experience

  • Ideally with experience working as second person on a press brake machines, or experience working on a Hydraulic or mechanical press.

  • Experience of working to and understanding engineering drawings is essential in both first and third angle projection.

  • The ability to work unsupervised is required as although in a team of approx. 10 people as the individual will be required to work through various jobs without assistance, setting tools and in process inspection.

Location: Chilton

Hours of work:

  • Dayshift - Mon - Thurs: 8:00am to 5:00pm

  • Friday - 8:00am to 12:30pm

  • 2 shift rotation: Mon - Thurs: 2:30pm to 11:00pm

  • Friday: 12:30pm to 7:00pm

  • Mon - Thurs: 6:00am to 2:30pm

  • Friday: 6:00am to 12:30 pm

Rate of Pay: £13.73 per hour
