CNC Setter/Operator

Location: West Midlands

Hours: Mon – Thurs 1:00pm – 10:00pm / Friday 10:00am – 2:00pm

Salary: £28,000 - £32,000 (Depending on experience)

Company: A leading manufacturer in the aluminium industry, specializing in aluminium extrusion fabrication, finishing, and assembly, prioritizing quality, reliable delivery, and competitive pricing for diverse market sectors.

• Machine Setup: Configure and adjust CNC machines (specifically Alumatics type) according to precise job specifications.
• Safe Operation: Operate CNC machinery efficiently and adhere to safety protocols.
• Quality Assurance: Monitor production processes to ensure high-quality output.
• Problem-Solving: Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise during production.
• Collaboration: Work closely with other team members to meet production targets.

• Some jobs run for 4-5 hours.
• Typically, 3-4 jobs need to be set up in sequence.
• After initial setup, the role involves operating the machines.
• Workload is rotational.
