Job Role: CNC Setter Operator / Trainee Supervisor (Turner)

Location: Bromsgrove, West Midlands

Salary: £33,000-£35,000 (OTE £40,000-£45,000)

Hours: Monday-Friday 06.00-14.00/14.00-22.00 Weekly Rotations

Job Type: Full time, Permanent

The client:

Interaction have partnered with an international precision engineering & quality organisation that operate across 5 sites ranging from high volume, quality, micro-precision & bespoke work predominantly for automotive and military use. Due to exponential growth, we are looking for a skilled CNC Turner Setter that would like the opportunity to progress into a senior position within the next 6-12 months.

Excellent training development surrounding management training, supplier collaboration, CNC Milling & Turning alongside programming using G-code.

Clean facility with new and up to date machinery

Once trained and familiar with the site/operations there is the opportunity to move over to permanent days.

Duties:

To set & operate a variety of CNC Turning machines & lathes ranging from 3 & 4 axis machines in line with high tolerances.

Work with a variety of materials inclusive but not limited to stainless, mild, medium-high alloy steels, Aluminium, Brass and plastics.

To partake in training surrounding leadership, CNC programming, direct manufacturer training and general machine upgrades

To be open to learn / work on the CNC Milling section.

Requirements:

Previous experience working as a CNC Turner or Setter within Aerospace, Automotive, Military or Motorsport for a minimum of 2 years.

A base understanding of programming/setting using Siemans, Mazatrol or Fanuc control systems

A good understanding of working to tight tolerances with the ability to work on both high volume and low volumes pieces

The desire to progress and develop into a leader of the business within the next 8-12 months (training provided)

A good & punctual attitude towards the workplace
