Kenton Black Group are currently recruiting for a CNC Sliding Head Setter for a growing Engineering firm based in Wolverhampton. Our client supplies their products internationally to a diverse array of sectors.

This is a night shift – 4 Days per week (Monday to Thursday 19:00 – 07:00, paid breaks, 48 hrs per week)

CNC Sliding Head Setter - The Role:

Setting and Operating various CNC Sliding Head Machines.
Producing high quality components.
Loading and unloading of parts.
Manual Inspection of parts using micrometers, verniers and callipers.
Client offers an ongoing commitment to training and career development.
Free on-site parking.
Ideally located for Transport links.
Pension scheme.

CNC Sliding Head Setter - Skill Requirements:

Experience in Operating, Setting CNC Sliding Head Machines.
Experience with Star and Citizen Machines – Fanuc Controls.
Ability to read and interpret complex Engineering drawings.
Experience with machining of exotic materials.
Minimum of 2yrs working within a Precision Engineering Company.
High attention to detail and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Apprentice trained (preferable).
