CNC Turner, Programmer, Setter
An established precision engineering company based near Newton Abbot are looking for a CNC Turner programmer setter on Siemens controls to join their team.

The Role of a CNC Turner, Programmer, Setter
As a successful CNC Turner Programmer Setter you'll be responsible for programming and setting CNC Turning machines using Siemens controls. You’ll be working from engineering drawings to produce small to medium batch components.

Duties of a CNC Turner, Programmer, Setter

  • Program, Set and Operate CNC Lathes - Siemens controls
  • Machining to tight tolerances and ensuring quality.
  • Small batch / One offs

Requirements

  • Previous experience programming, setting and operating CNC Lathes.
  • Ideally the candidate has experience using Siemens controls.
  • Must have experience with working to tight tolerances.
  • Good teamwork skills.
  • Ideally come from a high precision background - aerospace, automotive, F1, oil & gas
