CNC Turner Programmer

Our Client is one of Europe's leading manufacturers and international distributors of ball & roller bearings, mechanical power transmission products and motion transfer linkages.

Our Client is currently seeking a skilled CNC Turner Programmer to join their team in the manufacturing industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for Programming CNC turning machines to produce high-quality components.

Responsibilities:
- Program CNC turning machines to fabricate precision parts using FANUC Systems
- Read and interpret engineering drawings to determine machining requirements
- Use hand tools and measuring equipment to ensure accuracy of machined parts
- Assemble components using various techniques including welding
- Collaborate with the engineering team to develop and improve machining processes
- Utilise CAD software for programming CNC machines
- Perform tooling changes and adjustments as necessary
- Monitor machine operations and make adjustments to ensure quality standards are met
- Implement logic controllers for automated machining processes
- Handle materials effectively, ensuring proper handling and storage practices

Skills:
- Proficiency in using hand tools and equipment common in CNC machining
- Experience with milling operations and assembly techniques
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings accurately
- Proficient in CAD software for programming CNC machines
- Knowledge of tooling procedures for CNC turning operations
- Welding skills for component assembly
- Familiarity with logic controllers for automated processes
- Competence in materials handling practices
- Strong mathematical skills for basic calculations related to machining processes
