Are you a skilled Machinist? Do you have previous experience working with Turning machines? If so, this role could be perfect for you! Our client (a large manufacturing business) is looking for a skilled Turner to join their team on a full-time basis. This is an amazing opportunity to join a reputable and growing organisation. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working with Turning machines and have the ability to Set, Operate and Programme whilst working to tight tolerances and variety of different parts.

Monday – Friday

7.30am – 3.30pm / 8.30am – 4.30pm

Key roles & responsibilities as a CNC Turner:

  • Manufacture components looking at Engineering drawings and specifications to ensure successful first time build and test of finished components.
  • Be able to Programme, Set & Operate Turning machines.
  • Adhere to all relevant instructions contained within Work Standard Instructions (WSI’s) in the manufacture of Compressor components.
  • Conform to all aspects of the companies Quality Management System, including the fulfilment of all relevant procedures etc including all Standard Practice (SP’s)
  • Deliver quality components in a timely manner whilst contributing to efficient and effective manufacturing principles.
  • Interact and respond to all aspects of supporting cost reduction, efficiency, delivery and Quality improvements.


Key skills/knowledge as a CNC Turner:

  • Engineering drawing interpretation ability.
  • Experienced in multi-disciplined CNC machining – Turning, milling, boring.
  • General Environmental Health and Safety awareness.
  • Previous experience of Precision Manufacture.
  • Ability to work unsupervised.
