Job Title: Cognitive Behavioural Therapist

Grade: Band 7

Location: Parkside House

Ward: Rise Coventry CAMHS

Pay Rates: £25.60 per hour

Shift Patterns: Flexible but max for each post 37.5hrs per week over a 7-day period between the hours of 8am and 8pm

What you can add:

  • Provide evidence based Cognitive Behavioural Therapy assessment and treatment to children, young people (CYP) and their families who have complex mental health difficulties.
  • Work autonomously within professional guidelines and within the overall framework of the Trust policies and procedures.
  • Supervise and support designated staff including CBT Practitioners and trainees, as well as other members of the MDT where appropriate.
  • Be part of the RISE multi-disciplinary team delivering specialist interventions and provide expert clinical advice in MDT discussion.

What you’ll need:

  • A professional registered qualification in a relevant subject (e.g. psychology, social work, counselling, mental health nursing, Psychotherapy) at degree level is desirable, or equivalent qualification and membership of a registered statutory body, e.g. NMC
  • Post Graduate training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. Leading to Full accreditation. This includes candidates who have completed the post graduate training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy on a KSA route.
  • The post involves travelling across Coventry and Warwickshire to meetings as required, so must be a car driver.
  • Specialist knowledge of the range of young people’s mental health problems and mental health services including risk assessment and management.
