Our client is looking for an experienced Collections Agent on an on-going basis.

  • Monday to Friday
  • 37.5 hour week
  • £13 per hour
  • Office based role in Moulton Park, Northampton.

What We Are Looking For:

Contacting Debtors: Initiate contact with customers via phone, email, and mail to discuss overdue accounts and negotiate payment plans.

Account Management: Monitor assigned accounts to identify outstanding debts and maintain detailed records of collection activities.

Payment Arrangements: Evaluate customer financial situations and establish appropriate payment arrangements.

Documentation: Accurately document all collection efforts, communications, and agreed payment arrangements in the company’s database.

Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by addressing and resolving customer inquiries and complaints promptly.

Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, including the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA).

Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on collection activities, outstanding balances, and recovery rates to management.

Team Collaboration: Work closely with the accounts receivable team and other departments to ensure smooth operations and effective debt recovery.

Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve collection processes and suggest enhancements to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
