Collections Coordinator

Full-time days - Monday-Friday, 37.5 hours per week
Salary: £25,000-£27,000 depending on experience
Work Location: Hybrid working – 3 days office and 2 days from home.
A full driving license and use of your own vehicle is required due to the location of this position.

Our client, are specialist in the leasing and financing of heavy agricultural vehicles and machinery.

Role Description:

As a Collections Coordinator and administrator, you will be supporting customers with various queries over payments in arears, communication, with their nationwide customers. Looking to settle late payments, issuing documentation and making outbound telephone calls in regards to chasing late payments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Building strong relationships and professional credibility with clients and stakeholders
  • Working under company legislation and process to ensure of swift transactions
  • Issuing card payments
  • Raising invoices
  • Producing in depth and accurate MI
  • Producing hire documentation
  • Mitigating risk and problem solving
  • Negotiating daily with clients
  • Telephone, email and written communication to clients regarding late payments

Requirements:

You should hold a minimums of 2 years’ worth of experience in the same or similar role, such as;  Collections, Credit control/Debt recovery. Ideally this should be with in the asset and finance leasing sector.
Possess excellent communications skills
You should be confident on all major MS Applications, including excel
Excellent customer service
Confidence in outbound calls and emails

An  A level or higher education in  a professional qualification in the asset finance or credit management sectors is beneficial.

GSCE of C/% in , Maths, English alongside the required experience.

Advantageous but not essential as training will be provided:
Experience with or have knowledge of POWER BI
Consumer Credit Act
