A trailblazing supplier of services in the manufacturing and printing sector are recruiting for a Colour Technician to be based in Northampton. With this rotating Monday to Friday role, you’ll get the opportunity to really forge ahead in your career. The company will immediately benefit from your production savvy mindset and experience in colour.

Key Responsibilities

  • Dispense ink according to production plans.
  • Move products to and from machines as needed.
  • Book and manage press returns and deliveries in the system.
  • Re-work, cluster, and manage press returns.
  • Place weekly material orders and file delivery notes.
  • Maintain the ink area, equipment, and follow safety and hygiene rules.
  • Attend production meetings and support press and customer trials.
  • Provide colour matching and maintain digital colour databases.
  • Support on-site colour corrections and troubleshooting.
  • Produce monthly KPI reports and maintain colour measurement equipment.
  • Address Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) issues.

Ideal Background - Skills & Experience

  • Good colour vision and attention to detail.
  • Experience in an ink, paint or print environment.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving skills.
  • Basic IT skills.
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure.
  • Methodical and tidy working habit.
