We are currently assisting a reputable independent broker in north Leeds as they look to bring in an experienced Commercial Account Handler to work alongside direct clients and support Account Executives.

A great opportunity with a broker who have gone through some exciting changes recently, which has certainly opened up even more career prospects for their employees.

Main duties:

  • You will be working closely with a dedicated Account Executive
  • Responsible for a portfolio of existing commercial clients
  • Building strong relationships with clients and understanding their insurance needs
  • Dealing with premiums ranging from £10,000 and exceeding £250,000
  • Dealing with renewals and pro-actively ensuring a high retention level
  • Communicating with Underwriters on a daily basis and building strong relationships
  • Broking risks for new business and renewals
  • Using the Acturis system

This is a great opportunity for someone looking to make the next step in their career and move to an established brokerage that are known for their excellent service standards and their traditional values. The basic is up to c£40k depending on experience and full support towards CII qualifications is on offer.
