Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Commercial Account Handler to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial insurance and possess excellent communication and organizational skills. This role requires a proactive individual who can manage a portfolio of commercial clients, ensuring their insurance needs are met with precision and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with commercial clients, understanding their insurance needs and providing tailored solutions.
  • Policy Administration: Handle all aspects of policy administration, including renewals, endorsements, and mid-term adjustments.
  • Claims Support: Assist clients with the claims process, ensuring swift and fair resolution of claims.
  • Quotations and Negotiations: Obtain quotations from insurers, negotiate terms, and present the most suitable options to clients.
  • Compliance: Ensure all activities comply with industry regulations and company policies.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and documentation.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, addressing client queries and concerns promptly and professionally.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years' experience in commercial insurance, preferably within a brokerage.
  • Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of various classes of commercial insurance.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
  • IT Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and insurance software.
  • Professionalism: High level of professionalism and attention to detail.
  • Certifications: Relevant industry qualifications (e.g., CII) are advantageous but not essential.
