We Do Group are partnering with a global consumer brand that has recently experienced significant growth and are now seeking to hire a Commercial Analyst on a 12 month fixed term contract. The company have an established name in the industry and are known as the best in class! This role will suit a candidate with a finance/analyst background looking to take their first step into fully commercial role.

The Role

This support role will report into a knowledgeable and inclusive Commercial Manager within a wider team of Analysts. The role is broad but will involve the following:

• Collaborate with the Commercial Manager and Analyst to model commercial trends and set targets that support the business strategy.
• Develop and optimise the trade distribution strategy to achieve cost-efficient sales.
• Execute and maintain company schemes, including target setting, performance reporting, and final results analysis.
• Model and report on past, current, and future distribution channel mixes and trade partner performance.
• Analyse commission schemes to drive continuous improvement.
• Collect, analyse, and interpret data to support commercial decision-making and identify process improvements.
• Create and maintain complex Excel models, automate tasks, and compile performance updates as needed.
• Analyse trade loyalty programs and co-op marketing efforts.
• Provide insights on channel trends and ROI to support investment decisions and the distribution strategy.

Your Profile

We are looking for an analytical mind with the drive to push change and support influencing decisions. This role will involve stakeholder engagement, so communication skills are a must.

• Experience in a finance/analytical role
• Strong academic background
• Strong Excel and system skills
• Ideally knowledge of Hyperion or Power BI
  
  

Salary & Benefits

£37,500-£42,500 plus wider benefits including generous holiday allowance. The business operate a true hybrid policy with 2-3 days per week in their Chertsey, Surrey office with parking on site.
