Providing efficient, timely and professional support to brokers for both new business & renewals, midterm adjustment and general enquiries. Due to exciting growth within their team, a fantastic opportunity for a Broker Underwriter to join their London team has arisen.
Your new job working as a Broker Underwriter means you will be responsible for:
- Responsible for trading, underwriting and service activities
- Dealing with Commercial combined business
- Proactively develop strong relationships with a designated panel of brokers
- Underwrite commercial combined/SME risks within the Broker Business team, wholesale business
- Quoting new business, and underwriting existing business (MTAs and renewals).
What you'll need to succeed
- Atleast 5 years experience in insurance underwriting within commercial/SME lines.
- Good understanding and knowledge of insurance industry.
- Knowledge and experience of underwriting insurance risks
- Good time management skills to meet deadlines.
- Good communications and negotiation skills.
