Locum Commercial Contracts Lawyer – East Midlands – Up to £60 per hour Umbrella ­­­– Remote Working – 3-6 months – Full Time (37 hours per week)

Venn Group’s specialised legal team are in collaboration with a Council based in the East Midlands in their search for an experienced Locum Commercial Contracts Lawyer.  This is a full-time position where you will be working on a range of procurements and contract matters.

Duties may include:

• Involved in a broad range of work including frameworks agreements, construction projects, collaborative procurements, and subsidy advice
• Providing legal advice and representation in areas of law of relevance to the Council including information governance and public law challenges to decisions
• Advising and drafting on a wide range of contracts for services, supplies and works in context of ongoing procurement exercises
• Providing one to one advice and assistance to members to the Procurement team
• Reviewing and amending in-house standard commercial documents
• Drafting and advising on a wide range of documents arising in various procurement exercises including framework and call off Ts&Cs

This post is full time, (37 hours per week) on a remote basis offering up to £60 per hour Umbrella.
