Central London, Hybrid - 3 days a week in office
£80,000 - £95,000 + Bonus & benefits

The Company

A qualified Commercial Finance Manager is sought by a leading professional services group with an enviable portfolio of FTSE 100 and Blue Chip clients. This organization offers a broad range of services across international offices in Europe, the Middle East and Asia. Ambitious growth plans and continued profitable expansion within all markets and regions has created a new opportunity for a Commercial Finance Manager to join the team. Providing support to the Partners and Functional Heads, you will be responsible for delivering a best-in-class service to key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities of the Commercial Finance Manager

  • Collaborate closely with various teams, including key stakeholders and sales units, to ensure client pricing models are profitable, innovative, and adaptable.
  • Ensure all proposals align with both the organisation's and the client's values.
  • Work in tandem with Finance Business Partners, Departmental, and Regional Heads to pinpoint training opportunities on pricing and proposal strategies.
  • Design and implement targeted training solutions to enhance stakeholders' skills in pricing, commercial strategies, profitability, and revenue optimisation.
  • Prepare financial analyses and provide insightful commentary for key sectors and clients.
  • Partner with Departmental and Regional Directors to offer financial support and drive profitability.
  • Collaborate with Business Development leads and key personnel to develop flexible fee structures (pricing, discounts, commercial terms, etc.) that support new business acquisition.

Skills & Attributes of the Client Commercial Finance Manager

  • Demonstrable experience of working with partners and challenging stakeholders under pressure
  • Extensive experience in commercial finance, particularly in supporting key decision-makers.
  • Experience in pricing or business partnering within a professional services context is beneficial.
  • Proven ability to communicate clearly and concisely with senior stakeholders and team members.
  • Commercial mind set to understand and solve problems before they arise
  • Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills for creating innovative financial proposals.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with confidence and clarity.
  • An accounting qualification is advantageous, but candidates with experience in pricing or commercial financial analysis will also be considered.
