Commercial Law Consultant

Are you a Law Graduate with a solid understanding of Commercial Law? I have a fantastic opportunity for a Legal Consultant to enter a well-established UK Legal Consultancy. The successful candidate will be supporting a professional legal support team and building solid working relationships with a wide variety of clients, including professional services, technology, engineering, and healthcare. This opportunity is offered on a remote basis with team support and mentoring. 1 team day a month often held south of England.

Day to day responsibilities

• Supporting the consultancy team to increase productivity
• Conducting research, drafting commercial changes and reviewing 3 rd party contracts
• Preparing basic documents using existing templates
• Understanding client requirements and identifying opportunities to share additional services
• Building effective working relationships with clients and colleagues
• Keeping up to date knowledge on commercial law and legislation

Requirements

• Degree in Law essential, with focus on Commercial Law
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Legal experience relating to contract law
• Understanding of factors determining business profitability (P&L,Balance Sheets)
• Own transport and UK License
