Job Advert: Senior Commercial Litigation Solicitor

Location: Southampton

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Commercial Litigation Solicitor to join a leading law firm in Southampton. Our client, a well-established firm with an impressive reputation, is looking for an experienced solicitor to play a key role in their growing commercial litigation team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a diverse range of complex commercial litigation matters.
  • Advise clients on commercial disputes, including breach of contract, shareholder disputes, and insolvency-related matters.
  • Lead cases from inception to resolution, handling litigation in both the High Court and other forums.
  • Provide strategic legal advice to clients, ensuring timely and cost-effective resolution of disputes.
  • Supervise junior team members and contribute to their professional development.

Requirements:

  • Qualified solicitor with at least 7+ years of commercial litigation experience.
  • Strong experience in handling complex commercial disputes.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to develop strong client relationships.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A proactive and solution-oriented approach to legal challenges.
