Commercial Procurement Policy & Compliance Officer
Full time hours on a temporary basis
- Responsibility for the creation, development and maintenance of procurement policy, guidelines and compliance activities, including benchmarking and implementation of best practice. To author user documentation, manuals, guidance notes, etc. in consultation with the Commercial Services leadership team and user department representatives.
- Responsibility for ensuring Commercial Services and wider organisational compliance with the Corporation’s Procurement Code and UK Public Contract Regulations, guidelines and agreed procurement policies; including measuring, analysing, validating and reporting on departmental compliance to procurement policy and processes.
- Responsibility for the development of a robust assurance framework maximising use of data and intelligence in order to empower, and hold to account, service departments and institutions to independently manage tactical procurement and contract management.
