With over three decades of market presence, this organisation has carved out a strong niche within specialist commercial insurance, including areas such as life sciences, healthcare, medical malpractice, and clinical trials.
While the business operates in specialist sectors, specific product experience is not essential. What matters most is your ability to lead a team, implement robust procedures, and drive performance through clear structure, process, and accountability.
This opportunity is tailored for experienced insurance professionals who combine strong sales capability with proven leadership. You will be responsible for managing a small high potential team while also playing a key role in driving sales performance, maintaining key client relationships, and embedding operational excellence throughout the branch.
We are looking for someone with a hands-on approach, a leader who thrives on developing people, putting in place effective workflows, and using data driven KPIs to drive consistent high quality results. You will have the autonomy to shape how the branch runs day to day while also working closely with senior leadership to influence wider commercial strategy.
The ideal candidate will bring solid insurance experience across commercial lines, a track record of managing teams, and the ability to balance people development with business growth and compliance.
This is an office based role in Birmingham and would suit someone who is motivated by the challenge of improving team performance, refining operations, and playing a leading role in a growing specialist insurance business.
