This firm are recognised as one of the UK's top-tier sports law firm catering to prominent names in sports and media industries. Their clientele includes national and international governing bodies, broadcasters, clubs, sponsors, investors, entrepreneurs, digital media and technology companies, and high-profile athletes. The firm's Commercial practice is thriving, and they aim to augment their team with a junior associate experienced in advising on commercial issues.

The role will require you to advise on a wide range of commercial matters, including:

  • Major events and hosting.
  • Sponsorship contracts.
  • Endorsement contracts and image rights.
  • Supply of goods/services contracts.
  • Technology and digital contracts.
  • IP issues

The team are looking for a junior associate with experience gained at a leading national or international law firm and/or within a relevant in-house role. You should have excellent technical skills and experience of advising on the types of matters noted above. You will also be proactive in business development opportunities for the firm and develop business opportunities, particularly in the Swiss market.

Experience in the sports sector is not a pre-requisite, but you will be expected to display an understanding of the sector and a demonstrable desire to work in it. Experience in advising national and international federations would also be beneficial.
