We are recruiting for Commercial Support Administrator role to work within the City of Wolverhampton Council .

Contract length - 3 - 6 months minimum with a potential of extension or becoming permanent

Pay rate: £12.59 per hour

Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Job role:

To provide commercial and contract management support to ensure the Council's interests are protected and best value is achieved. This will include working closely with the Commercial Team to deliver a high performing, customer focused commercial service to internal and external stakeholders, in addition to developing both knowledge and experience in relation to commercialisation.

Job duties:

Provide support to the Commercial Team to ensure commercial projects and contracts are managed efficiently and effectively and that accurate records are maintained.

Support with the preparation and maintenance of business cases.

Support with business improvement reviews.

Updating and keeping accurate records, ensuring correct data is being inputted.

Support with updating and maintaining the Commercial SharePoint sites and folders.

Support with monitoring and administering the Commercial general email accounts.

Support with horizon scanning and research to support the Council with potential opportunities and understand uncertainties.

Assist with potential development, collaboration, and partnership opportunities with other public sector organisations.

Support with contract management of allocated contracts to ensure that value for money and anticipated benefits are realised.

Check and process invoices of contractual spend.

IMPORTANT:

Ideal candidate will hold excellent date entry skills, will have good attention to detail and have good knowledge of excel and powerpoint.
