Commercial Vehicle Mechanic

£45k - £50k Depending on Experience

West Malling

Monday-Friday (Saturday morning shift every other Saturday finishing at midday)

ARE YOU A LEVEL 3 QUALIFIED VEHICLE MECHANIC?

DO YOU HAVE EXPERIENCE WORKING ON COMMERCIAL VEHICLES?

My client is looking for a Commercial Vehicle Mechanic to work on a fleet of over 500 vehicles! If you are level 3 qualified in vehicle repairs and have experience working on commercial vehicles, then this could be the role for you!

Duties include:

  • Carrying out services and repairs on commercial vehicles.
  • General maintenance on fleet.
  • Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in vans.
  • Conducting vehicle inspections.
  • Logging all repairs and maintenance.
  • Any other duties required.

The successful candidate will have / be:

  • NVQ level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent qualifications such as City and Guilds.
  • Previous experience working oncommercial vehicles.
  • Experience working on Ford vehicles – not essential but highly advantageous.
  • A full UK driving licence.
  • The ability to work under pressure and in extremely busy environments.
