BMS Pre Commissioning Engineer

  • Annual Salary: £28,000-£31,000
  • Location: North Shields, Tyne & Wear

Our client, a leader in Automatic Heating and Ventilation Controls, is seeking a BMS Engineer to join their team. The role involves pre-commissioning and maintenance of various measurement, control, and regulation devices within Building Energy Management Systems (BMS).

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Pre-commissioning and maintenance of electromechanical, electronic, or pneumatic devices in BMS.
  • Interpretation of engineering drawings and application of engineering design principles.
  • On-site work and collaboration with a team, as well as office-based tasks.
  • Ensuring all activities are carried out in accordance with company standards and regulations.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • HND/HNC or equivalent in a relevant field.
  • Electrical Test & Inspection certification.
  • Knowledge of the 18th Wiring Regulations.
  • Strong technical and electrical background.
  • Proficiency in understanding engineering drawings.
  • Good numeracy and computer literacy skills.
  • Experience working on-site in a similar role.
  • Full driving license.
