Commissioning Service Director needed in Cambridge Paying  £600 per day ref 18464

Full time hours on a temporary basis

Develop and implement commissioning strategies aligned with strategic ambitions

Develop the use of intelligence and insight to identify gaps in services and plan accordingly.

Engage with provider and wider systems partners to understand needs and priorities, ensuring these are reflected in commissioning plans.

Lead the procurement process, including drafting specifications, tendering, and contract negotiation.

Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, policies, and best practices in procurement.

Develop and manage budgets for commissioned services, ensuring cost-effectiveness and value for money.
