A leading global financial services company is seeking a Commodities Operation Analyst to join their Commodity Operations group provides comprehensive support for financial and physical commodities derivative transactions, covering a wide range of products including Precious and Base Metals, Bulks, Oil, Power, Gas, and Emissions.



Role Overview

As a Commodities Operation Analyst, you'll be instrumental in ensuring smooth front-to-back operations for all commodities transactions. Your role will involve confirmation, settlement, and reconciliation of trades, working closely with various stakeholders across the organization.



Key Responsibilities

  • Provide analytical and administrative support for transactions
  • Liaise with Middle Office, Sales, Trading & Legal teams
  • Complete daily tasks accurately and on time
  • Identify and mitigate operational risks
  • Manage, escalate, and resolve inquiries and issues
  • Develop technical understanding of supporting applications and contribute to process improvements


Requirements

  • Strong ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent computer literacy, particularly advanced Excel skills
  • Clear and concise written and verbal communication
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Energetic, flexible, collaborative, and proactive approach
  • Ability to build trust with professionals across the business
