We have an exciting opportunity for a Communal and Heat Network Manager to join one of our established Housing Association clients. This is within a team in either London or Oldham on a permanent basis.

  • Location: London
  • Role: Permanent
  • Pay: £68,201
  • Hybrid: 3 days in the office (35 hour week)

In this role, you will manage a team of five people and ensure the smooth operation and compliance of our national portfolio of communal heating systems with current and future regulations. With support from our contractors and consultants, you will assess the performance of our communal heating systems and develop plans to enhance their efficiency and effectiveness.

What we're looking for

  • Experience in contract management, including building and maintaining relationships with contractors and stakeholders to continuously improve service delivery.
  • Expertise in managing communal heating systems and ensuring compliance.
  • Experience with new developments and project management/delivery.
  • Experience managing contracts that require statutory compliance, including gas compliance and metering and billing.
  • Proficiency in managing heat networks, including installation, service, and repair, as well as metering and billing.
  • Knowledge of setting metering and billing tariffs and ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • Strong working knowledge of heat network regulations.
  • Proven ability to lead, manage, and motivate teams.
  • High level of numeracy.
  • A degree or equivalent qualification, preferably in a technical field.
