Annual Salary: £25-33 per hour
Location: Dorset
Job Type: Full-time/Part-time Temporary

We are seeking a dedicated Communication Support Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of BSL Level 3 and be passionate about facilitating effective communication for all individuals.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Provide communication support to individuals using British Sign Language (BSL).
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to promote an inclusive environment.
  • Adapt communication methods to suit the needs of different individuals.
  • Assist in the development of communication strategies within the organisation.
  • Support the delivery of training and awareness sessions related to BSL and communication support.
  • Maintain professional knowledge and skills in BSL and communication support techniques.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • BSL Level 3 qualification as a minimum.
  • Experience in a communication support role is desirable.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Commitment to professional development in the field of communication support.
  • Ability to work flexibly and adapt to the needs of the service users.
