Job Opportunity: Community Psychiatric Nurse – BuckinghamshirePosition Details:
  • Job Role: Community Psychiatric Nurse (CPN) - Early Intervention Service (EIS)
  • Band: 6
  • Location: Buckinghamshire
  • Duration: 3 months (ongoing)
  • Schedule: Full-time, Days
  • Start Date: ASAP
  • Rate of Pay: £26 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
  • Community Visits: Conduct regular visits to patients in their community settings to ensure their needs are met.
  • Medication Administration: Administer prescribed medications to patients daily as per their treatment plans.
  • Patient Interaction: Engage with patients to understand their conditions and provide support, monitoring their progress and noting any changes.
  • Risk Assessments: Perform risk assessments to ensure patient safety and address any potential dangers to the patients or those around them.
Requirements:
  • NMC Registration: Active registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) as a mental health nurse.
  • Community Experience: Proven experience working in a community setting.
  • Caseload Management: Ability to manage a caseload effectively with demonstrated experience.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication skills with the ability to work under pressure.
  • Team and Independent Work: Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Commitment to Care: Dedication to providing high-quality care to patients.
