Community Nurse – Nottingham (NHS, Contract Role)
Evenings & Overnight | £21.50–£25.00 Ltd (Umbrella) per hour

Service Care Solutions is currently recruiting for an experienced Community Nurse to join a dedicated NHS team in Nottingham. This full-time contract role runs Monday to Friday, 5 PM – 8 AM, supporting patients in their homes and local clinics.

Role Summary: As a Community Nurse, you’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality care to patients outside of the hospital setting. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference to individuals and families across the community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide expert wound and medication management in the community
  
  
• Deliver catheter care and support for patients with chronic conditions
  
  
• Offer compassionate palliative and end-of-life care
  
  
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure patient-focused care
  
  
• Assess, plan, and evaluate care tailored to individual patient needs
  
  

Requirements:

• Registered Nurse (RGN) with a valid NMC pin
  
  
• Proven experience in community nursing (essential)
  
  
• Strong clinical expertise in wound care, catheter care, and palliative support
  
  
• Able to work independently and manage a diverse caseload
  
  
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (preferred)
