Are you a caring individual who enjoys working with people? Then join our committed community outreach team in Barrow.

As a support worker you can support adults with mental health needs and learning disabilities to live their best lives. The successful candidate will engage with service users and build trusting, therapeutic, relationships.

The role includes visiting service users in their own homes or in other settings and offering practical support to enable them to live independently while also offering emotional support in accordance with their individual support plans. The support role includes helping with daily living tasks such as cooking, appointments, medication and money management.

We have both full time and part time hours are available, 37.5 and 22.5 per week to be worked on a flexible rota. The ability to lone work, using your own initiative is essential for this role.

Being a car driver and car owner (or access to a vehicle) is essential for this role, mileage allowance is paid.
