About the Role: We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Rehabilitation Assistant to join our team. You will play a crucial role in providing care and assistance.

Location: Swinton area

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting in regulating emotions and to process information to reduce frustrations
  • Daily support to plan days and attend to key tasks
  • Assistance to read and understand correspondence/emails, support in meetings with professionals
  • Collaborate with team members to create a supportive and empowering environment.
  • Provide emotional support to clients and their families

Requirements: To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Experience: Previous experience working with individuals with Acquired Brain Injuries (ABI) and dysexecutive syndrome is ESSENTIAL.
  • Must have at least 6 months UK care experience and Right to work in the UK
  • An up-to-date DBS Certificate registered on the Update Service – Should you need to apply for a new DBS we can support you with this.
  • An up-to-date CV with all employment history
  • To be able to commit to an assignment, to ensure structure and stability for our service users.
  • Skills: Excellent communication skills, empathy and understanding approach.
  • Availability: Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
