Your new company is a prominent manufacturer in South Wales that supports the UK's logistics sector. They create leading high-tech machine parts, operating worldwide.

Your new role
Your new role will be as a company accountant will be to support the Finance Director in all areas within finance. You will be part of a close team in the company's HQ,
Your responsibilities will include:

• Annual statutory accounts preparation and management of annual audits
• Prepare monthly or quarterly management accounts
• Submitting quarterly VAT returns
• Carrying out bank reconciliations
• Producing budgets and forecasts
• Negotiation and administration of company contracts
• Managing cash flow and bank balances
• Dealing with Companies House and National Statistics returns
• Providing cover for the Accounts Administrator duties, including payroll, purchase ledger administration and credit control.
• Providing general financial advice to the Managing Director, Shareholders and Managers

What you'll need to succeed

• Qualified accountant (CCAB//CIMA qualified)
• Strong Excel skills
• Ideally, previous management experience

• Salary is up to £45,000 with a yearly increase & bonus
• Fully office-based working in a collaborative working environment
• 29 days annual leave entitlement
• 4% employer's pension contribution scheme
• The yearly bonus is based on company performance (0-4 X Monthly salary) and a payrise of 7-10%.
