An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Company Secretary to join a dynamic, FCA-regulated organisation. This role combines the energy of a start-up with the stability of a long-established financial institution.

The successful candidate will provide essential company secretarial and corporate governance support to cross-border entities within the group. This is an ideal role for someone with an entrepreneurial spirit and a deep understanding of the financial services sector.

This Company Secretary role is a standalone position, where you will play a pivotal role in providing advice and guidance to senior stakeholders within the organisation. Responsibilities include:

  • Provide corporate governance support and advice to management, directors, and other stakeholders
  • Manage and support provision of company secretarial advice and transactional support for projects and transactions
  • Manage the appointment and resignation process of directors, including on-boarding and training of new directors
  • Maintain systematic governance and controls framework through setting agendas, preparing board packs, completing matters arising and minutes, monitoring board delegations policies
  • Maintain statutory company records and registers, making fillings with trade registers

This role offers hybrid working (2-3 days in the offices, based in London).

The ideal candidate for this Company Secretary position is a Chartered Secretary or qualified lawyer with over five years' relevant experience. You will have previous experience working within Financial Services.
