Overview
On behalf of Buckinghamshire Council, Pertemps Recruitment have an exciting opportunity for a Complaints and Improvements Officer to join the team in Aylesbury. Working alongside the Information Governance Case Officer, you will play an important role in triaging and overseeing stage 1 complaints and enquiries via the case management system

Temporary – until 29/11/2024 with potential to extend or go permanent
Hours: Monday to Friday – 37 hours per week, 9:00am to 5:30pm (part time requests will be considered)
Pay Rate - £15.77 per hour
Start Date – as soon as possible
Work Schedule – Mix of office and home working
Location – Walton Street, Aylesbury HP20 1UA

About the role
As a Complaints and Information Officer, you will have a number of responsibilities including, but not limited to the following:
  • Taking calls for complaints over the phone 
  • Working with other council services to ensure timely resolution of complaints
  • Making decisions and problem solving for complaint cases
  • Drafting complaint responses

About you
The successful candidate(s) should have:
  • Complaints experience or customer service experience is expected
  • Local Authority experience is desirable
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with both customers and internal services
  • Ability to prioritise and organise workload
  • Ability to assess complaints and enquiries according to the Council’s policies
  • Experience in identifying improvements to processes and/or systems 
  • Accurate record keeping
