Complaints Support Officer

Location: Manchester and London working 3 or 4 days at home after training

Salary: £23,951 - £32,000 (depending on location and experience)

Type: Temporary (initially hourly rate via umbrella, then fixed term contract until June 2025)

Start Date: Mid to late July

Hours: 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday (no weekends)

Overview: We are recruiting for a social housing organisation and looking for dedicated Complaints Support Officers to join our clients teams in both Manchester and London. This role is temporary, initially paid hourly via umbrella, transitioning to a fixed-term contract until June 2025.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the complaints department to keep complaints on track.
  • Organise paperwork and conduct research for each individual complaint.
  • Act as the first point of contact for the Housing Ombudsman.
  • Manage key stakeholders within the business.
  • Ensure complaints meet compliance requirements.

Requirements:

  • Experience in complaints handling is essential.
  • Background in housing complaints is preferred, but other complaints backgrounds will be considered.
  • Excellent customer service skills are vital.
  • Must be available to start around mid to late July.
