I am currently recruiting for a 6 month contract role on behalf of an established Global Bank based in Canary Wharf. Their hybrid model requires staff onsite 3 days a week and will be paying up to £750 per day via PAYE (only).
The successful candidate will have recent experience as a Compliance Advisory Manager focusing on Securitised Products & Credit only. Candidates with an Investment Banking background will only be considered - not Asset Management or Brokerage. Role Responsibilities involve:
- Offer real-time and responsive advice to the business on daily matters, including reviewing transactions that pose conduct and reputational risks, addressing trading and sales queries related to market impact or restructuring, and preparing meeting materials.
- Policy Implementation: Collaborate with the Global Compliance team to drive compliance policies, procedures, and practices into the business.
- Risk Assessment: Identify and assess compliance risks through thorough reviews of business activities, changes, processes, testing, and systems.
- Regulatory Monitoring: Review and monitor regulatory requirements and industry trends related to credit and securitized products, providing guidance to the business on compliance best practices.
- Training and Support: Provide training and support to employees on compliance policies and procedures.
- Answer day to day queries on the trading floor.
- Help with governance of new product launch approvals.
- Drafting Procedures, and helping the wider teams understand compliance and new conduct.
- Advising the team and business on compliance issues
Previous Skills and Experience:
- Previous experience in an Advisory role within a Global Investment bank
- Regulatory Change project experience
- Markets Advisory experience
- Working within a fast paced multi structural environment
- Credit and Securitised product experience
