Compliance Analyst

My client is a well established, growing and award winning pension consultancy with offices throughout the UK. Due to the implementation of a new Regulatory and Compliance team they are currently seeking a compliance analyst to join their friendly team. Duties will include:

  • Supporting the compliance specialist to ensure the organisation meets its regulatory obligations.
  • Identifying changes in legislation / compliance that will affect the business and putting in place processes to ensure adherence.
  • Assist with the supplier verification process including CDD / KYC, PEP process, high risk jurisdictions, and refresher checks and be the first point of contact for queries relating to supplier compliance
  • Providing firm information to suppliers as part of their verification process
  • Assist with the firms FCA monitoring reviews ensuring adherence
  • Assist with preparation of the company's quarterly compliance news letter

Applicants will possess circa 1 - 3 years experience in a compliance role (ideally from a pensions / investment or IFA background) with a good understanding of the FCA handbook and financial crime within the financial services sector. You will be highly organised with excellent communication skills, a keen eye for detail and the ability to adapt to changing legislation.
