We are delighted to present a fantastic opportunity for a Compliance Analyst to join the Risk & Compliance team at a leading firm based in Manchester. The role also includes occasional travel to other offices (expenses paid).
 
Role Overview:
As a Compliance Analyst, you will be integral to the risk management framework, carrying out various tasks to uphold the firm's compliance standards.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Dive into procedural file reviews across all areas of the firm.
  • Keep an eye on SmartSearch alerts and report back to fee earners.
  • Be the go-to person for risk and compliance queries from staff via email or phone.
  • Maintain SRA records and manage practising certificates.
  • Lead the new starter process with flair, including regulatory questionnaires and training.
  • Deliver engaging risk and compliance induction sessions and ad-hoc staff training.
  • Keep our central registers updated and manage data protection matters.
  • Help prepare for external assessments like Lexcel and CQS.
  • Stay in the know about legal and regulatory changes affecting the firm.
  • Work with the Client Services Team and review referral agreements.
  • Support the risk and compliance team with a variety of day-to-day tasks.
 
You will bring:
  • A law degree or equivalent legal training.
  • A keen eye for detail.
  • Fantastic organisational skills.
  • The ability to work both independently and as part of a lively team.
