Compliance Assistant - City - £27k

Hybrid working, 09:00-17:30

Wise May are looking for a Compliance Assistant to join our client, a personable and progressive law firm based in the City. This is a great opportunity to join a friendly team at the start of your Compliance career.

Duties to include:

  • Answering AML queries from fee earners and other staff, escalating as necessary
  • Processing conflict search requests using in house database
  • Supporting the Risk and Compliance Manager with other risk and compliance projects
  • Carrying out administrative duties and other ad-hoc activities as required
  • Keeping up to date with spreadsheets
  • Prepare agenda and any related documents for any AML review meetings
  • Provide administrative/secretarial support to the Head of Compliance and Risk and Compliance
  • Be responsible for booking training for the Compliance team when required.
  • Prepare reports for the compliance manager using the in-house database.

Skills:

  • Previous administrative experience gained in a professional services environment
  • Previous exposure to compliance (preferred but not essential)
  • Strong attention to detail and an ability to handle confidential information in a professional and discreet manner
  • Excellent analytical skills and a high standard of written and oral communication
