Compliance Manager
Join our client's fast-paced, successful Compliance team, where there has never been a better time to step in. This opportunity is with a specialist mortgage lender backed by a global financial institution, offering first and second charge loans.
The Team
Our client operates a hybrid working model, allowing you to benefit from both home and office work. The office locations are based in Cardiff and London, with the team also situated in Manchester, necessitating occasional travel to other offices.
Your Role
As part of the second line of defence function, you will be responsible for overseeing the completion of compliance monitoring activities to assure the Board that frameworks, systems, and controls are functioning appropriately.
You will bring experience in managing both teams and stakeholders, as liaising with internal customers is crucial to the success of your department. You will manage projects and prioritise and structure workloads for your team of three.
With a background in a similar role or looking for your next step, you will be adept at juggling challenges and priorities, and you won't shy away from changing direction or re-evaluating current objectives.
An in-depth knowledge and experience of operating within a B2C and B2B lending business is essential, as is a working knowledge of compliance assurance methodologies. You will also be able to develop and maintain compliance plans and frameworks, and associated standards, and oversee compliance structures to promote a risk-aware culture that maintains regulatory compliant arrangements for the business.
What We Offer
In return for your commitment, you will have the chance to develop your career in a dynamic environment, working alongside top talent and an exceptional leadership team. If you want to be involved in exciting expansion plans and have the chance to shape and influence the way the business grows, then we would love to hear from you
